Little Celest's swollen head
Little Celest had a fall recently from her baby cot. It was a terrible fright for both me and my husband. Luckily, for the next few days, she did not show any negative symptoms of vomiting and being lethargy. She is still active as usual.
However, on last Tuesday, I happened to feel a soft patch on the left side of her head and it was a large area. We immediately rushed her to East Shore Hospital for a medical consultation. Little Celest had a X-ray taken and it was verified that she had indeed a head fracture. Upon knowing that she has a head fracture, we requested for a detailed examination, worrying that there might be internal bleeding. As such, Little Celest went for a MRI (Woo! It cost us almost $900 for a 30mins test). Fortunately, the result was encouraging. There wasn't any bleeding.
For the next few weeks, we have to be careful, trying not to let Little Celest has another fall.
